Vata Flow: A Grounding Practice for Tumultuous Times

When we live through times of extended stress, the body and mind begin to suffer. This special practice will offer a deep, grounding energy through the application of asanas (postures), pranayama (breath work) and meditation.

The Ayurvedic dosha (mind/body type) of Vata is one that we all have within us and is an energy of not only movement, but also of CHANGE. I think it’s safe to say change has been something we have had to deal with on a nearly constant basis these days for better or worse. When this energy becomes dominant or imbalanced in the body/mind, we may feel fearful, worried, anxious, have frazzled nerves, insomnia, digestive issues or a feeling of stiffness in the joints.

Please join us for this special practice offering an opportunity to apply the tools of practice to bring us out of our heads and into our bodies in a way that feels deeply nourishing. You can expect to move, but also to slow down and create a space for healing within.
