Inner Sanctum: Asana, Pranayama, Mantra & Meditation to Stabilize & Create Peace
Inner Sanctum:
Asana, Pranayama, Mantra & Meditation to Stabilize & Create Peace
Wednesday, November 15th
5:30-7:30PM
Eden Yoga Shala (In-person only, no virtual option)
Sanctum means sacred place.
As we know too well, the world tends to reward outward focus and material productivity, and it can sometimes be filled with turmoil and violence. My interest in sharing yoga at this time is to offer what I can to help us all feel more steady and peaceful.
Being human is a challenge and our practice can provide an inner sanctum to return to again and again to stabilize and fortify ourselves so that our contribution to the world is one that enhances individual and collective peace.
This special class will offer a little more time in some of the contemplative and subtle aspects of practice that are often only briefly touched upon in a weekly class. We will move through yoga asanas (physical postures) to prepare the body, and then have ample time for pranayama (breath practice), a beautifully restful savasana, mantra chanting, and meditation.
Online pre-registration is required to join in for this two hour, blissful re-set. This is an in-person/in-studio only event (no virtual option). The investment for the two hours is $30. You can go to the special events section of the web page to register or simply click HERE. If you prefer to pay by cash, Venmo, or check – please email me to arrange payment and registration.
