Grounding Ayurvedic Yoga for Winter Nourishment

Grounding Ayurvedic Yoga for Winter Nourishment

Rescheduled to Thursday, February 12th due to weather

5:30-7:30PM

In person only at Eden Yoga Shala

This special practice will offer a deep dive into yoga specifically designed to remedy the imbalances that can accumulate during the winter season.

I had the pleasure and honor to train with the Kripalu School of Yoga and Ayurveda last spring and will be applying what I learned to craft an experience for you specifically with seasonal attributes in mind.

Wintertime can create qualities in the body and mind that are cold, scattered, brittle, and dry. The Ayurvedic approach to yoga asks that we choose poses, breathing practices, and meditations that help balance these qualities.

So for this practice you can expect grounding, warmth, and deep nourishment to be the focus. This will be a Vinyasa flow class that is suitable for both beginners with a bit of experience as well as for those who are more seasoned on the mat.

I’m offering this only in-person (no zoom option) and pre-registration is required to attend (no drop-ins please). The fee for the 2 hour experience is $35.

If you prefer cash/check/Venmo, please contact me to arrange payment and registration. If you prefer to pay via any credit/debit card, please use the secure payment link below.

Here’s to nourishing and caring for ourselves during this deep winter season. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about this practice.
