Heather designed this mala for her own wear and practice.

The centerpiece of the Purity & Courage Mala is a Maine beachstone that is cast in sterling silver. 108 wooden beads are interspersed with spacer beads of brass, carnelian (for courage) and grey pearls (for purity).  The reverse side of the beachstone is engraved with the mantra Om shanti shanti shanti, which means peace in Sanskrit.

The mala is approximately 32″ long.

All malas are strung on stainless steel beading wire. While they are quite strong and flexible,  these malas should only be worn on the neck or held in the hand for meditation. In order to prevent premature breakage, do not wrap around the wrist. If after normal wear your mala does break, we can restring it for you with a minimal labor charge.
