OM from the Depths: Grounding Vinyasa and Myofascial Release

This is a favorite practice of Heather’s and for many of her students. A combination of fluid, deep asana practice followed by myofascial release using tennis balls.
There are many ways to open the body and to know ourselves better in order to create practices of self care. This class aims to create an open, strong, balanced and supple physical body with the intention of allowing the mind to follow suit.
A mixed-levels Vinyasa Flow asana practice will be followed by time working with release of the fascia (connective tissue) using tennis balls. Our yoga postures will prepare us to work with a entirely different layer of tension that can arise from our habitual patterns of holding and movement.
Come prepared to sweat initially and then go very deep to release and let go. Don’t miss this one!
