Ground/Purify/Clarify: A 3 part series of Asana, Pranayama & Meditation

In the West, much of our yoga practice is focused on the postures (asanas). There are many layers to yoga and within our being that we miss by narrowing our focus. While the poses are extremely helpful to bring us in the door of yoga, and for helping us to become more embodied, the added benefits of breath work and meditation are often left by the way side in many classes. We often don’t make time for it.
This series will aim to bring these three aspects of yoga together to provide a deepening of your experience on the mat. Asanas to ground you, pranayama (breath work) to purify the system, and meditation to clarify the space of the heart/mind.
BONUS: You will receive the recording of each class and have lifetime access to them. Whether you attend the live sessions or do only the recordings, this access will allow you to revisit this experience as often as you like.
This 3-class series will be a focused and structured time on the mat. Each 75-minute practice will be as follows:
5-minute overview of the day’s practice, breath connection, and brief opening chant
40-minute yoga asana practice, which will follow a traditional sequencing format
5-minute savasana (deep rest)
10-minute pranayama (guided breath practice)
10-15 minute guided meditation
