Causeway Club Yoga Class Information & Policies for 2023

Wednesdays and Fridays in the Red Barn

9:00-10:15am

Classes begin on June 28th

All classes require pre-registration on my website (link below). Online registration is preferred as it assures that there is space for you in class and takes care of the payment and waiver to make things easy. If you have issues with the sign up, please email or text Heather in advance of class to register (don’t wait until the last minute please). Contact info below.

Classes are $21 (for both club members and non members – the public is welcome to these classes). Classes have a 24 hour cancellation policy and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Be courteous if you do need to cancel (even if it’s late) in case there is a wait list.

If you would like to get on a wait list for a class that is full, please text Heather at 207-669-5313 or email and include your cell number in the email.  Email is: heather@heathermurray-jeweler.com

Yoga mats and props: The Causeway Club is not a yoga studio and does not have mats/props. If you need a mat, please text Heather the day before the class (207-669-5313) to request that she brings one for you to borrow. Please bring your own yoga mat if you own one and any props you would like for class. A yoga block (or two) is very helpful if you have them.

Directions: The Causeway Club is located at 10 Fernald Point Road, in Southwest Harbor. Please park in the large lot by the Red Barn.

Illness: You are expected to refrain from participating if you have any symptoms of Covid-19, the flu, the common cold, or are generally feeling unwell. If you have been around someone who has Covid-19 or is suspected of having it, please do not attend class.

Class description: Hatha Vinyasa Yoga combines physical practice with inner contemplation.  This dynamic class flows through postural sequences at a slow and steady, yet intentional pace using the breath as a guiding force. Attention to body alignment and where we place our mind in the moment weave together to provide a holistic, mind-body-spirit experience.

Heather enjoys offering a practice that allows both beginners and experienced students to moderate the level of intensity to honor the intelligent edge of their bodies.  The Yoga postures, breathing techniques, and other tools of the practice teach us to engage in deep presence with what is and tap into the wisdom of the heart.
