Reticulation
Heather Murray’s Landscapes Series highlights a process called reticulation that produces original, highly textured surfaces similar to an aerial view of mountainous terrain or a meandering river delta. A result of the controlled heating of a sheet of special silver alloy, no two pieces are exactly alike — reticulation truly results in one-of-a-kind designs.

Heather is continually inspired by the unpredictable nature of the reticulation process and its organic results. She views each handcrafted piece as a “mini-landscape” and strives to produce beautiful jewelry that frames and enhances these unique textures.
